they grind up live wheat grass
in the blender
together with a bunch of unworthy fruits
and call it "grass and mixed fruits juice"
don't drink it!!

grass juice doesn't taste nice
it doesn't
so why drink it?
why even have such a drink?
to show YOUR support for grass
don't drink grass juice
so that with lower sales there will be less production
don't drink grass juice

it's an aboslutely cruel drink
where so much grass die just to be poured into packets

why bother growing grass if you're going to step on it?
and why bother stepping on puny grass?
if you think it's not worth your time to save grass
why is it worth your time to step on grass?
they are so small..
it's easier to not step on grass
than to step on them, isn't it?

the money spent on grass?
the time spent growing and then stepping on grass?
is it worth it?
why bother even having grass if you have to waste time stepping on it
it'll be a pity and pure waste to kill innocent grass

without trees and grass and plants
how do you survive???

grass is the root for all your oxygen
because of grass you are able to survive
and this is how you repay them?

where's your conscience??

草

蔚蓝的天空中悬挂着炎热的太阳,与一朵朵棉花似的白云衬托着, 艳丽的融合显得格外优美. 阳光照射着一片片绿油油的草地, 草丛犹如闪亮的镜子; 光滑的表面反映了光线.

这片草地, 却不普通, 因为在杂草和嫩叶中, 有个特别的我.

我并不是自夸, 而是自卑, 因为自己和别的草比较起来, 自己实在格格不入. 有些杂草也能长出优美的花朵, 一些嫩叶可以长得异常高, 而我, 只不过是一根普遍不过的草.

我特别, 就是因为我平凡, 我坚韧, 我努力.

原本优美的景色, 却是短暂的.

某个艳阳高照的清晨, 我被人类的噪音吵醒了. 一群年幼的小孩, 竟然不知从那儿跑来, 正在我的草地中奔跑, 嬉戏. 此外, 我也听到了一种人类不能够想象到的声音 – 草的怨言. 草儿抱怨不替万物着想的人类, 他们毫无顾虑地在草地上. 被踩的草儿, 都是我的朋友. 这一幕幕, 我看在眼里, 痛在心里, 眼泪夺眶而出. 无知的人类却误以为是露珠, 这有何理由? 我们黯然神伤地哭泣, 他们却觉得异常瑰丽. 爱欣赏露珠的人多得很, 欣赏我们这种平凡草的人却寥寥无几.

这公平吗? 我说.

无法避免呀! 你说.

终日面对生离死别, 感到无限沮丧. 随着岁月的增长, 渐渐学会了勇气, 学会克服, 学会放弃. 死, 就如家常便饭, 司空见惯, 早已成为了残酷的事实. 人类为了一时的享受, 为了玩耍, 却不知道为他们而无辜牺牲的小草.

拿得起放得下, 大家说.

我就是放不下, 我抽噎.

于是, 我必须找办法告诉人类, 想办法救济自己的家园. 我努力挣扎, 然而, 却老是想不出任何办法.

怎么办? 我问.

就是没办法. 你说.

真的如此吗 ? 难道我们生存在这个世界上, 为的仅仅是让人类踩吗? 我不甘心, 我不服气.

晚上又默默流泪.

真的渴望. 父母都过世, 朋友渐渐稀少了, 老天为什么还留下我孤零零呢?

实在难过.

不久后, 终于想出了办法, 就是叫集体草儿长高一点. 那是我们的所能. 长高一点, 可能人类就不想踩我们了. 于是召集所有还残留的小草.

我们必须和心协力! 我宣告.

和心协力! 他们回答.

数月后, 大家果然长高了. 一片草地上, 小草参差不齐, 高低不平, 很有风格. 我心中的喜悦非笔墨所能形容, 心中想着终于有救了! 很可惜, 好事不长久, 园丁却成为不速之客, 侵袭了我们的领土, 还开始刈我们.

是不是老天故意跟我作对? 我想.

没回音.

我决定放弃. 既然天意不站在我们这一边, 我也只好如此. 我开始思索,到底我们生存的意义何在? 真的不知道.

深深怀疑, 老天创造我们时, 根本就是在闹着玩儿. 我们只不过用来美化世界, 让人类欺负. 心中的恨与愁加倍了. 那肯定就是答案. 我们并不重要. 又感到自卑.

阴沉沉的天空, 乌云笼罩着太阳, 配合起来, 令人感到心情烦躁, 显得死气沉沉. 暗淡的光线普照地上一片褐色的地面, 硬邦邦的地面上, 嫩绿小草的痕迹却荡然无存.

for low low prices!
you can decorate your bag/pencil case
and show your support for the dont-stepongrass campaign
and you are helping the fund to buy more grass
the venues for the badge-selling will be confirmed at a later date

meanwhile, tell everyone you know about this campaign
and encourage them to buy badges!

tell your family and friends
all NOT to step on grass!
tell your teachers, your classmates, everybody you see!
just tell them not to step on grass!!

if anyone is about to step on grass,
call them back and tell them why they shouldn't step on grass!
(but if they would rather just do it and not listen to reasons
just let them be,
all you need to do is to ensure the grass gets stepped on lesser and lesser by the day)
lead them around the slightly-longer way
such that they wouldn't have to step on grass!

grass are pretty!
they are so nice and green
and they are good for your eyesight
green rests your eye muscles
(according to our art teacher)
that's why you have to look at greenery after doing near work
but if you don't have grass
what are you going to look at?

trees are insufficient
grass is a far better choice
it take up a large area of land
and then the whole area can be green!
isn't that just wonderful?

grass also fills up excess space
so that it wouldn't be so empty
so grass is good yeah?

let the world be beautiful.
fill it with love for grass.

you never study geography ah?
"the roots of plants help to bind the soil together
to prevent soil erosion"
the roots of grass help to prevent soil erosion
simple logic.

if you kill the grass by stepping on them
then there will be more soil erosion
then there will be flooding, dust storms,
and there will be many casualties
and YOU are at risk of being harmed in any of the effects/ post-effects of soil erosion

why let it start in the first place?
there's such a simple solution to this whole problem
let the grass do its job of binding the soil together.
i'm not even asking you to sit there and bind the soil together
kind-hearted grass have volunteered to do so
so give them a hand, will you??

why should they be killed for doing a favour to mankind, to YOU?
that's not fair.

it is easy
just walk on concrete paths

all that i'm asking of you so far
is just to NOT step on grass
avoid walking all over grass fields
or using the boh-tak shortcuts
it is EVIL!!!

if you are planning to step on grass
please don't even plant the grass
buy fake grass
they are quite cheap
some are less than 4 dollars per square feet
and they never die!
very good aren't they??

so if you plant grass
there is a purpose for doing that
and it is for beautifying the environment
NOT for stepping purposes

even if you're playing soccer
there's such a thing called fake grass
or play on the basketball court
or netball court
anyway why would you play on the field?
it's not even

and you're killing grass
might as well play on the basketball court
that way
it's a better game
and you save grass

i'm sure that makes sense
and even in official tournaments
they play on fake grass
so don't go around saying that playing soccer kills grass
ignorant people

yes grass reproduces fast
but you must at least give the grass a chance
a chance to reproduce
if you keep stepping on the bare ground
how do you expect the grass to grow?
even if the grass did manage to grow something
it would be killed in less than a day
think about it from the grass' point of view
"why bother to grow when i'll get killed anyway?"

grass already do not have a very long lifespan
an average grass blade lives for about 45 days
with people stepping on it daily
it would never last for more than a week!!

make a difference in these poor grass' lives
stop stepping on grass

there is aboslutely NO reason to step on grass
because if you DO step on humans
it's becasue the person has agitated you in any way
but what did grass do??

ask yourself that again

the grass is innocent
they're just lying there minding their own business
and what do YOU do??

you step on them
now
is that right?

how would you like to see a whole patch of bare ground
as compared to a lush green grass carpeting the ground?
it's the latter, right?

so not only have they not offended you in any way
but they also benefit you

grass are such lovely works of nature
and if you step on them to KILL them
you are not only a MURDERER
but you're destroying what little bit of pretty scenery in the school that it has
we already have a pathetic number of fields
if you kill whatever we have
then what is left??

what is left of nature in your heart??

if you don't cherish grass
who are you to appreciate flowers and other arts of nature??

just becasue grass is green
and flowers come in different hues
that doesn't give you an excuse to discrimnate against them

Well
as you can tell from the title of this blog
you SHOULD know why it exists

the grass outside Block J
and all around our school
is dying
and the patches (formerly grass)
are all bohtak

WHY?
because everybody steps on the grass
and once the grass dies and becomes just dry ground
then people say
"its just mud why can't i step on it?"
why is it mud?
becasue YOU stepped on it

therefore i propose that we do NOT step on grass or mud unless you're constantly in a hurry
it's just a few more steps to the pathway
WHY must you step on the grass??

how would YOU like it if you were stepped on day and night
and everybody who trampled on you weren't even sorry

that's unkind
grass are living things too
therefore
we should NOT step on grass
and instead use the designated pathways to get anywhere in our school
or outside our school

in this blog
once in a while will be reasons why we should not step on grass
and sometimes will be more stories on people stepping on grass
yes

DO NOT STEP ON GRASS
